Since her first World Cup victory in Mammoth Mountain, USA, Anja Pärson remains Sweden’s most distinguished alpine skier. Her international breakthrough came in the 2000/01 season at the World Championships in St Anton, when she won a gold medal in the slalom and bronze in the giant slalom.
